About The Foundry
Built in 1919, The Foundry originally operated as an industrial factory producing metal goods and playing a vital role in the Oswego community. It provided jobs to local residents and contributed to Oswego’s prominence as a key port on Lake Ontario—casting iron for mills, factories, and railroads.
Fast forward to 2023: our team purchased the building with a vision to fill a gap in the Oswego and Syracuse wedding industry by offering a truly modern bridal experience. Renovations began in May 2024 and were completed in March 2025.
Today, The Foundry is the only wedding venue in the area featuring a self-pour alcohol and beverage wall—just one of many elements that make your celebration truly unforgettable. Couples who book with us enjoy a newly renovated, climate-controlled event space with modern yet timeless design, an outdoor ceremony courtyard, a cozy fire feature, private bride and groom suites, tap-to-activate self-serve beverage taps, and so much more.
